On May 5, 2022, our daughter company KONŠTRUKTA – Defence welcomed the delegation of Slovak Ministry of Defence led by Minister Jaroslav Naď, the representatives of Finnish company PATRIA and a number of Slovak companies – the first level suppliers for the production of armoured military vehicles BOV 8×8.

KONŠTRUKTA – Defence plays the role of general contractor of the project and the contracting partner of PATRIA. It will manage all the Slovak subcontractors, realize the assembly, be responsible for the final testing, successful delivery to the Slovak Armed Forces and a complete service and maintenance. Alexander Gurský, general manager of KONŠTRUKTA, announced that launching such production will bring new employment opportunities not only in Dubnica nad Váhom but also in Moldava nad Bodvou.

Our other holding companies will also participate on the project 8×8. ZTS-ŠPECIÁL will be a supplier of barrels that meet all NATO standards and ZVS holding will supply an ammunition.

The Minister Naď appreciated the initial meeting, assuming most of the contracts to be signed within July.
