Finnish company PATRIA will supply the Slovak army with 76 armoured fighting vehicles, incorporating the Turra 30 Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) and a 30mm cannon GTS-30/A.

Slovak Ministry of Defence received bids from five various countries, some of which offered more technical solutions. The winning bidder was chosen according to the scoring criteria in several assessment areas and the involvement of Slovak defence companies represented 25% of evaluation process. The trials at the Military Technical and Testing Institute Záhorie were part of the tender.

The total Agreement Price is €447m (VAT inclusive), including logistics, ammunition and infrastructure.
